Girl, had her normal teenage struggles in life. friends, sexuality, school, religion. She goes on a trip overseas. Meets a guy. He's never had a girlfriend and it seems so impossible, but the moment she saw him she knew, he's special. Driving up the mountain in his old VW kombi, she looks at him, his smile, his blond hair. Just perfect. For months and months she keeps it in. He can't love me. I'm not good enough. I'm too young. I've got a past. I'm not smart enough. Besides, he's never shown that he feels the same. She comes back to see him. After 8 months. One day she just can't shut up. "I love you! I always have". He says, "I'm sorry, we have to pray about this". She can't sit still. She can't think. She goes into the next room and paints a painting, "decision day" This was not what it was about. She's ruined the friendship forever, but somehow...she knew it would work out, because God has shown her he has a plan for her life...

The boy walks into the room...

"Can we talk?", he says softly

"yeah sure"

"I love you and I'd like to give this a go"

The happiest day of that young girls life.

One night I had a dream -- I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand, I noticed that many times along the path of my life, There was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.

“Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way, But I have noticed that during the most Troublesome times in my life There is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why in times when I needed you most, you should leave me”,

The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering.
